Meanwhile it seems to me that some contradiction should be given to Mr. Dillon&#039;s assertion in the House of Commons, when, in the course of a vindictive attack, he coupled General Gough&#039;s name with the second phase of the Battle of Cambrai. It is known to every student of the war that General Gough and his army were not near Cambrai on the occasion of that battle, and that he had nothing to do with the matter.
