	When Josiah Crandall is murdered, the narrator asks Edgar Allan Poe if he would like to examine the body, but he refuses. Then the narrator ask [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]], but he has to finish a chapter of [[The White Company]]. So the narrator ask Rex Stout (the real one this time) and his detective Nero Wolfe, but he wouldn't leave his home says he needs facts. Later, Poe and Dupin eventually examine the crime scene. By his deductions, he finds that the murderer has a myopic disorder. The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle comes and wear a deerstalker. By observing and deducing, he finds that the murderer has an astigmatic disorder. Then Archie Goodwin, Nero Wolfe's assistant, comes and observe the crime scene, then report to Wolfe who give no explanation. Then all the suspects have to do an eye test. Even the narrator is tested. Unfortunately, they all have a perfect vision. <spoiler show="Spoil me the end of the story" hide="~~Close~~">But the host notices that the narrator had just received a packet from the Optical Company South Colonial that was containing contact lenses.
