TO THE EDITOR OF THE TIMES.

Sir, — The next scene in the world-drama will be a general exodus of all the men who may be wanted over the frontiers of Denmark, Holland, or Switzerland. Would it not be as well for the Allies to lose no time in warning these neutrals to be careful whom they may accept as guests, since we shall certainly not recognize any rights of asylum for those whom we regard as murderers ? Such an announcement might be unprecedented, but so are the times.

Yours faithfully,
