Our lead article in this issue of ACD is Thomas R. Tietze&amp;#039;s &amp;#039;A. Conan Doyle: Poet&amp;#039;. I&amp;#039;m delighted to have this insightful piece from Tom, who has been one of our more regular contributors over the years. And speaking of contributors leads me to my final point: after eleven years, it becomes no easier to obtain the material required to keep ACD alive. There is no doubt that the material is out there — or that there are people able to present it in the form of journal articles — but, all too often, promises come to naught and we are left struggling to gather worthwhile articles to ensure that the Journal survives. If you care for ACD, and wish to see its continuing publication, you may like to ask yourself if there isn&amp;#039;t something you, too, should be doing.&lt;br /&gt;
