&amp;#039;&amp;#039;The Mystery of the Leaping Fish&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is an American silent movie produced by &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Triangle Film Corporation&amp;#039;&amp;#039; released on 11 june 1916 (USA), starring [[Douglas Fairbanks]] as Coke Ennyday, a parody of Sherlock Holmes. 25 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;

In the movie, Douglas Fairbanks as himself introduces the  scenario he created. Then we see Coke Ennyday, the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;world&amp;#039;s greatest scientific detective&amp;#039;&amp;#039; looking like Sherlock Holmes, dealing any situations with massive absorption of cocaine which increase his energy. To help the police he discovers a contraband of opium transported with &amp;quot;Leaping Fishes&amp;quot;, and the blackmail of a mysterious man who wants to marry the &amp;quot;fish blower&amp;quot; girl... At the end of the movie, the scenario editor tells Douglas that he shouldn&amp;#039;t write more scenarios and stick to acting.&lt;br /&gt;
