&amp;#039;&amp;#039;The Pall Mall Gazette&amp;#039;&amp;#039; was an evening newspaper founded in London on 7 February 1865 by George Murray Smith. In 1921, The Globe merged into the Pall Mall Gazette, which itself was absorbed into the Evening Standard in 1923.&lt;br /&gt;

Between 1888 and 1917, the gazette published 10 letters, 1 article and 1 novel written by [[Arthur Conan Doyle]] and also an interview.&lt;br /&gt;
