'''Truer Perspective of British Effort.'''
(From Our Correspondent.)

Petrograd, Jan. 25.

The information recently received from England with reference to the true scale of British military effort has attracted considerable attention in the Russian Press.

Special articles on this subject, including one by an ex-member of the Duma, M. Aladin, in the ''Novoe Vremya'', happily coincide with the publication of a letter from [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]]. addressed to "Our Russian Friends and Brothers," explaining in detail England's part in the war. There is also a very notable increase of independent recognition of Great Britain's services, together with generous appreciations of the personal heroism of the individual arms of our fighting forces.
