Фатти - Шерлок Холмс (Fatty - Sherlock Holmes) is the title given in Tomsk (Russia) on 16, 17, 18 and 19 december 1924 to the American silent movie The Dollar-a-Year Man (3 april 1921) in USA, starring Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle as Franklin Pinney, an amateur sleuth.

In this movie, Franklin Pinney (Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle), a laundryman and member of a yacht club. He also brags boorishly about his talents an amateur sleuth, much to the annoyance of his fellow club members. So when they make plans to entertain a visiting prince (Edward Sutherland), they decide that Fatty has to go. They fabricate a story about kidnappers and have real detective Kate Connelly (Winifred Greenwood) lure Fatty to a supposedly haunted house, where she will keep him prisoner until the prince leaves. But there really is a plot to kidnap the prince, headed by socialist Tipton Blair (J. M. Dumont). Both Fatty and the kidnappers wind up at the haunted house; meanwhile, the prince decides to play hooky from the festivities and run off with Fatty's sweetheart, Peggy Bruce (Lila Lee), for a fun evening. They, too, arrive at the haunted house and the resulting melee ends with the police capturing both the pranksters and the kidnappers. The grateful prince has Fatty and Peggy attend the royal dinner as his guests of honor.
