A. L. Burt Company was an American (New York) book publishing company from 1883 until 1937. Founded by Albert Levi Burt (1843-1913), it began reprinting home reference works, before expanding into the field of children's books. Upon Albert Burt's death in 1913, his son, Harry Prentice Burt, took over. Harry Burt retired in 1937, selling the company to Blue Ribbon Books.

    • A. L. Burt Company, Publishers, 52-58 Duane Street, NY (1898-1914)
    • A. L. Burt Company, Publishers, 114-120 East Tweny-third Street, NY (>1914)

Between 1894 and 1930, the company published 10 novels and 82~83 short stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle.
