A Requiem for Sherlock Holmes is an American reading play written by Greg Oliver Bodine and directed by Jonathan Lee Taylor, performed by The Guillotine Theatre at The John F. Kennedy Center (Washington D.C., USA) on 4 september 2017, starring Ian Blackwell Rogers as Sherlock Holmes and Terence Aselford as Dr. Watson.

Holmes meets his match, the criminal mastermind, Professor Moriarty, in a climactic struggle above the Reichenbach Falls in Switzerland, leaving a grief-stricken Dr. Watson to pick up the pieces and help solve a brutal murder nearly three years later.

The play is an adaptation of the Arthur Conan Doyle's short stories : The Adventure of the Final Problem (1893) and The Adventure of the Empty House (1903).
