Artists Beat M.C.C.

The Sporting Life (12 july 1912, p. 8)

The match at Lord's yesterday between the M.C.C. and the Royal Academy of Arts came as a pleasant interlude between the 'Varsity game and the Eton and harrow fixture.

The Academy, who won by 86 runs, had first use of a capital wicket, and the feature of the innings was a finely-played century from G. Hillyard-Swinstead.
