The 10th footage from the Conan Doyle 16 minutes home movie (Richard Lancelyn Green collection) shows Arthur Conan Doyle and his family (his second wife Jean, his children Denis, Adrian and Lena Jean) during their trip in East Africa between march and april 1929.

At this time Conan Doyle and his family were ending their trip around Africa sailing North-East Africa through Aden, Suakim, Port Soudan, Suez, Cairo before returning to Marseilles via Malta (see map of the whole route).
