Denholm Elliott (31 may 1922 - 6 october 1992) was a British actor who played two different roles in 2 different versions of The Hound of the Baskervilles as Jack Stapleton (1978) and as Dr. Mortimer (1983). He also had a role in the John Cleese parody The Strange Case of the End of Civilization as We Know It in 1977.
