Geoffrey Whitehead (born 1st october 1939) is a British actor who played Sherlock Holmes in the TV series Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson between 1979 and 1980 with Donald Pickering as Watson.

In 1999, he was Professor Moriarty in the TV show The Newly Discovered Casebook of Sherlock Holmes with Roy Hudd as Sherlock Holmes and Chris Emmett as Dr. Watson.
