George Edalji

Sir Conan Doyle has taken up the case of George Edalji (son of the Parsee vicar), whom he considers to have been unjustly sentenced, his great point being that Edalji's eyesight made it impossible for him to wander about dark fields by night in search of animals which he is supposed to have maltreated.
