The semi-final tie match for this cup, between the Southampton and the Portsmouth Clubs (which was adjourned from Southampton last week), was opened again on Thursday at the United Service Cricket Club Ground, Portsmouth, and resulted in a victory for Portsmouth by 30 runs on the first innings.
