After two days' play between these teams at the Hilsea Ground, Portsmouth, rain yesterday brought about a draw, the score being – Rovers, 133 and 73 for five wickets; Malvernians, 177. For the Rovers Lieut. Evans made 38 and 35 not out, Major Tatham 15, Dr. Conan Doyle 15, Wood 12, Williams 10, and Pillans 2 and 13; and for the Old Malvernians G. H. Simpson put on 31, S. H. Day 50, J. H. Coplestone 53, W. M. White 10, and J. Powys-Keck 12.
