This match played at Haslemere on Wednesday, resulted in an easy win for the visitors. Haslemere were dismissed for the small total of 18 runs, after the visitor had been disposed of for 52. For Undershaw, Collier was in great form with the ball, capturing four wickets fur one run, while Searle was in deadly form, and accounted for six wickets for 13 runs. Undershaw is their second innings made 90 for seven wickets. Sir A. Conan Doyle, who made nine at the first time of asking, carrying out his bat for a finely played 45. The match was marred by a painful accident to Chandler, who, keeping wicket to the deliveries of Stewart Collier, had the big toe of one foot split by the ball apparently pitching with great force full upon it.
