This match was played at Grayshott on July 5th, and resulted in a victory for Headley by 26 runs. Batting first Grayshott made 127, Sir A. Conan Doyle and H. Wood playing in excellent style. L. Rogers and T. Brown did well for Headley. In the bowling T. Brown for Headley took eight wicket for 52, while Sir A. Conan Doyle, Stovold, and H. Wood divided the bowling honours for Grayshott.
