Ivor Salter (22 august 1925 - 21 june 1991) was a British actor who played a police sergeant in 1965 in episode The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax of the TV series Sherlock Holmes with Douglas Wilmer as Sherlock Holmes.

In 1973, he played an airport loader in the episode Elementary My Dear Watson of the TV series Comedy Playhouse with John Cleese as Sherlock Holmes.
