Joseph Van Abbé aka J. Abbey (1889-1954) was a Dutch-born, British illustrator. Not to be mistaken with his brother S. Abbey (1883-1955).

In 1917, he did the dustjacket cover illustration for Arthur Conan Doyle's novel His Last Bow: Some Reminiscences of Sherlock Holmes published by John Murray.
