John de Lancie (born 20 march 1948) is an American actor best known for his role as "Q" in the Star Trek saga from 1987 to 2001.

In 1998, Leonard Nimoy and John de Lancie adapted The Lost World on stage, in which all the characters were played by Star Trek actors. He introduced the play and played Lord John Roxton.
