Kenneth Benda as 'M' in TV movie The Strange Case of the End of Civilization as We Know It (1977)

Kenneth Benda (1902 - 1 july 1978) was a British actor who played Lord Mannering in the episode Redhanded of the TV series Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He then played a minister in 1970 in the movie The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes with Robert Stephens as Sherlock Holmes ; and he was the butler in 1975 in the movie The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother. He also played Sir Miles Messervey ('M') in 1977 in the TV movie The Strange Case of the End of Civilization as We Know It with John Cleese as Arthur Sherlock-Holmes.
