La Cravache Oranaise (21 february 1909)

La Cravache Oranaise (The Whip from Oran) was a French bi-weekly (1st and 3rd sundays) newspaper published by Maurice Bernard from "Maison Reliaud" and later "Maison Bonnin" in several cities of Algeria, North Africa (Algiers, Oran, Sidi-Bel-Abbès, Mostaganem, Mascara, Saida, Tlemcen and Tiaret).

In 1909, the magazine started serializing The Exploits of Brigadier Gerard with The Medal of Brigadier Gerard but abandoned the serialization shortly after having began the second short story How the Brigadier Held the King...
