Letter

Dear Sir

I want to thank you for your kind words on Monday. It was only my [deafness] which stood in the way at the moment. In the D. T. [1] account I see what you said about my short stories. I was much complimented.

Yours sincerely
A Conan Doyle

Dec 14.
