This letter was written by Arthur Conan Doyle from Bush Villa (Southsea) in 1885~1887 probably to Cassell's Saturday Journal editor about the re-publishing of two of his short stories John Barrington Cowles and The Blood-Stone Tragedy: A Druidical Story.

Letter

Dear Sir,

I am at present republishing a volume of my stories. I should like very much to add to them 'John Barrington Cowles' and 'The Bloodstone Tragedy' both of which appeared in the 'Saturday Journal'. I should be very much obliged if you would allow me to use them.

Yours sincerely

A. Conan Doyle, M.D.
