Letter about Oscar Slater (18 april)

From The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia

This letter was written by Arthur Conan Doyle on 18 april [1910 or later] from Windlesham, Crowborough, Sussex, about the case of Oscar Slater.

Dear Sir

I quite understand and acquiesce about the history, but I am very keen to put the Oscar Slater matter through. I wish you would shorten it up. Every unnecessary delay is hard upon the poor devil. Please let me hear about it.

Yours sincerely
A. Conan Doyle
