Letter

Dear Mr Clarke

I have an appointment at 11 tomorrow so the nearer to 10 you can come the better.

Would you bring with your flints and we shall make arrangements to have them worthily shown with your name attached.

We should like you to have your fair share of museum takings, which may be nil and may possibly be a boom. We suggest that we put our normal museum takings at £1 a day and all over that we divide.

Yours sincerely
A Conan Doyle
