Lionel Atwill (1 march 1885 - 22 april 1946) was a British actor who played Dr. James Mortimer in The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939), but also played Professor Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon (1942), two movies with Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes.
