Type of Diet : Carnivorous, but not a large eater.

Alcohol : Can easily do without it, but enjoy a good wine.

Tobacco : Can also do without this, but like my pipe of medium tobacco.

Hours of work : When interested in an idea will work almost continuously.

Hours of sleep : Seven to eight hours in bed, with gaps of wakefulness.

Recreations : Billiards. Have figured in the big tournaments. Interested in classical coins, Roman and Greek.

Sports : In the past, cricket, ski-ing, football, golf, etc. Used to hunt, was keen on boxing ; I first introduced the ski into Switzerland.

To what do you attribute your health ? : I started with a good head of steam and it carried me along with few stoppages to this age. Now my heart shows signs of weakness. No wonder !
