This return match was played at the Asylum on Thursday, and resulted in a win for the home team on the first innings. [[Arthur Conan Doyle|A. Conan Doyle]] (who is on a visit to Dr. Thomson) again rendered valuable assistance to the Asylum team. In the first innings [[Arthur Conan Doyle|Dr. Doyle]] bowled in a remarkable manner, taking the whole of the Dragoons' wickets, his analysis reading ten wickets for 15 runs. Dr. Bassano, Harrison, and Lilley also played in good form. By kind permission of the colonel and officers, the splendid band of the regiment attended during the afternoon. The music was greatly appreciated by the patients, of whom nearly 300 were present, and took a lively interest in the game.
