This match was played at the Pavilion Grounds on Saturday last, and won easily by the home team by seven wickets. The visitors batted first, and were a long time compiling 98, playing one man short. Gifford showed the best form for Caterham. When Norwood went in, the batting was more lively, Austin and Goodwin putting on 65 runs for the first wicket. The Roe and Rogers partnership produced 85 runs, both batsmen being not out at the finish. Score:—
