This match was played on the Pavilion Grounds on Saturday last, and resulted in a decisive victory for the home team. The visitors batted first, but were all out for 48, Hallam and [[Arthur Conan Doyle|Doyle]] bowling unchanged throughout, the latter obtaining six wickets for 19 runs, and the latter three for 29. The feature of the Norwood innings was a fine batting performance of A. P. Roe, who, going in first, carried his bat for 113, only giving one chance, and that after he had scored 102. Lee and [[Arthur Conan Doyle|Doyle]] both played well for their runs, the former getting has 40 under half-an-hour. Score:—
