Peter Wyngarde as Baron Grüner in episode The Illustrious Client (1965)

Peter Wyngarde (23 august 1927 - 15 january 2018) was a British actor who played Baron Grüner in 1965 in the episode The Illustrious Client of the TV series Sherlock Holmes with Douglas Wilmer as Sherlock Holmes.

In 1972, he was Sherlock Holmes in the episode It's Too Bad About Auntie of the TV series Jason King.

He also played Langdale Pike in 1994 in the episode The Three Gables of the TV series Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes.

He also was the narrator of the Timeshift documentary The Many Faces of Sherlock Holmes in 2014.
