Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Great Nome Gold Rush is an American play written by Joseph Vass and directed by David Ellenstein, performed at North Coast Repertory Theatre (Santa Fe, USA) from 13 january to 14 february 2016, starring Jason Maddy as Sherlock Holmes and Nicholas Mongiardo-Cooper as Dr. Watson.

The play takes Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson from London to Nome, Alaska, where the pair encounters Wyatt Earp, an assortment of wild and wooly characters, and an abundance of intrigue, mystery, deception and laugh provoking shenanigans along the way. You’re certain to agree that North Coast Rep has struck gold with this thoroughly original piece that incorporates music as well.

The play is a mix between a detective tale and a western.
