Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol (2018)

Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol is a Canadian play, written by John Longenbaugh and directed by Morris Ertman, performed at the Rosebud Opera House Theatre (Rosebud, Alberta, Canada) from 2 november to 23 december 2018, starring Nathan Schmidt as Sherlock Holmes and Peter Church as Dr. Watson.

It's Christmas Eve. Watson has tracked down an elusive Sherlock Holmes, finding him in a dark mood, determined to retire from the tedious work of solving crimes. That evening, Holmes is haunted by his mortal enemy, Professor Moriarty who tells him he will be visited by three spirits on their way with a Yuletide lesson to save him from damnation. The cold-hearted detective is guided through the shadows of his past, present, and possible future, forced to solve the most important mystery of his life — his hardened heart.
