Sherlock Holmes in Washington (1943)

Sherlock Holmes in Washington is an American movie released on 30 april 1943, produced by Universal Pictures, starring Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson. 71 min. This is the 5th sherlockian movie in the Rathbone series.

During WWII, Sherlock Holmes is summoned in Washington to investigate on the disappearance of a secret agent and an important document.

The plot is inspired by the Arthur Conan Doyle's short story: The Adventure of the Naval Treaty (1893).
