Arthur Conan Doyle did many runs on sledge, rennwolf, and skeleton in Davos (Switzerland) between 1893 and 1895.
On 8 january 1895, he participated to a sledge race between the teams of the Grand Hotel Belvédère and the Hotel Buol. With a time of 7 minutes and 56 seconds he finished 13th and last place... [1]
