The Big Noise (1944)

Stan Laurel (16 june 1890 - 23 february 1965) was an american actor famous for his duo with Oliver Hardy (Laurel & Hardy).

He played the parodic sherlockian detective Webster Dingle in The Sleuth in 1925. And in 1944, he played in a non sherlockian movie The Big Noise where he appeared dressed as the Sherlock Holmes cliché (see photos).
