Tainted Blood is an American play written by Tom Jacobson performed by The Road Theatre Company in 1998, at the Lankershim Arts Center (Los Angeles, USA), starring Mark Merkell as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

In this comedy/thriller, Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle use logic and religion to fend off a seductive vampire

The play received two awards:

  • Winner, Best Revival Award, Valley Theatre League, 1999
  • Judges' Choice, Pick of the Week, LA Weekly, 1998
