''The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes'' is a British play, written by [[Laura Turner]] and directed by [[Philip Stevens]], performed by the ''Chapterhouse Theatre Company'', premiered at the ''Ashby de la Zouch Castle'' (Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, UK) on 12 june 2018 and toured in UK and Ireland until 1st september 2018 (see [[#Performances|dates]]), starring [[Jamie Kwasnik]] as [[Sherlock Holmes]] and [[Adam Baylis]] as [[Dr. Watson]]. 120 minutes.

Deep in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside a terrifying mystery and a legendary nemesis await the arrival of the world's greatest detective. When the wife of Doctor Watson suddenly disappears, a desperate quest to find her begins. Sherlock Holmes comes face to face with his greatest fear at the hands of his mortal enemy.
