The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a British radio show produced by Harry Alan Towers and aired on BBC and WCRA-NBC between 1954-1955, starring Sir John Gielgud as Sherlock Holmes and Sir Ralph Richardson as Watson. The shows were directed by Val Gielgud and Martyn C. Webster and written by John Keir Cross. Prof. Moriarty was played by Orson Welles.
