The Big Noise is an American movie produced by Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation, written by W. Scot Darling and directed by Mal St. Clair, released in october 1944 in USA, starring Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. 71 minutes.

The plot of the movie is not related to Arthur Conan Doyle stories, but Laurel & Hardy appear dressed with deerstalkers and calabash pipe Holmes in a few scenes.
