The Real Sherlock Holmes is a Canadian play, written by Peter Colley and directed by David Nairn, performed at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre (Port Dover, ON, Canada) from 17 august to 3 september 2022 (at Port Dover) and from 7 to 18 september 2022 (at Roselawn Theatre, Port Colborne), starring Jeff Dingle as Arthur Conan Doyle and David Rosser as Dr. Bell.
Young medical student Arthur Conan Doyle and Professor Bell on an adventure through the underbelly of Edinburgh and over the Scottish countryside as they track down a killer. Clue by clue this is a tale unfold that will eventually become the inspiration of Conan Doyle's most famous and fascinating character.
