The Valley of Fear is a silent British movie released in may 1916, produced by Samuelson Film Manufacturing Co. Ltd., starring H. A. Saintsbury as Sherlock Holmes. Black & White. 7 reels (6500 feet). Standard 35mm spherical 1.37:1 format.

Survival status: Presumed lost.
