Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's annual cricket week to the Haslemere country opened on Saturday with a match against Eashing, in which the local team suffered an innings defeat at the hands of the powerful combination who are Sir Arthur's guests at Undershaw, Hindhead. For the later, Hesketh Prichard (the Hampshire bowler) took six wickets for 11 runs in the first innings of Eashing, and H. H. Fellgate five for 3 in the second. Score:
