HANTS COUNTY CHALLENGE CUP. — WINCHESTER V. PORTSMOUTH. — The first day's play in the final tie of the above competition, between Winchester and Portsmouth, took place at the County Ground, Southampton, yesterday. Glorious weather favoured the match, and an interesting and even day's cricket was witnessed. The wicket was in splendid run-getting order, and some good scores were made on both sides. Score:
