  • Arsène Lupin contre Sherlock Holmes (Arsène Lupin versus Sherlock Holmes)
In Normandy, an old alchemist is said to have discovered the secret of transforming lead into gold. This is all it takes to attract the attention of Arsène Lupin, disguised for the occasion as Viscount Raoul d'Avenac. Does the mystery hidden within the manor of La Barre-y-va have anything to do with the tidal bore that forms twice a year during the equinoxes? Lupin/d'Avenac investigates. But what the gentleman thief doesn't know is that Sherlock Holmes is on his trail. The famous detective of Baker Street is trying to eliminate Lupin, having already murdered his fiancée—the only way for him to keep this crime and his legend a secret.
