"Sherlock Holmes'" Way

Weekly Dispatch (16 august 1914, p. 3)

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle states that a movement is afoot by which men who can find no other way of serving their country can form themselves into local bodies for drilling and learning to shoot, organising themselves and forming a reserve without worrying the authorities in any way. Sir Arthur, who lives at Windlesham, Surrey, will be happy to send the methood of organisation to anyone who will write for it.
