In the Sherlock Holmes stories
Achmet was a servant of a rajah in a northern provinces of India, which was murdered by The Four, as he was carrying a treasure.
- Achmet was probably not his real name, and he was travelling pretending to be a merchant (SIGN 2481).
- He travelled across Rajpootana and seek the shelter of the fort at Agra (SIGN 2530).
- He was carrying the jewels for a rajah (SIGN 2598).
